Lilybank is situated on the shores of Lamlash Bay overlooking Holy Isle. Originally built in the late 18th century, Lilybank has been tastefully renovated and refurbished to provide the comfort, quality and facilities of a Visitscotland 4 Star Guest House.
Lilybank Guest House has 6 en-suite bedrooms, including a Twin en-suite room on the ground floor which has been specially adapted for those with mobility difficulties. Three of the rooms have beautiful sea views.
Each room has a TV, hairdryer, central heating and hospitality tray with tea/coffee making facilities.
Our lounge has lovely sea views and here you will find a selection of books and games for use during your stay. There is also a small utility area with refrigerator and glasses where guests may store drinks, wine, etc. to enjoy while relaxing after a day exploring this beautiful island.
Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the bay.
Here are Lilybank we try and utilise the abundant local produce such as locally made sausages, black pudding and haggis, free range eggs, organic porridge, oak-smoked kippers, smoked salmon and Arran preserves made at Arran Provisions in Lamlash.
There is a sun lounge which overlooks the garden.
Lilybank is totally non-smoking. Pets are not allowed on the premises.
The enchanting Isle of Arran is known as Scotland in Miniature. It contains the best of what Scotland has to offer, from history and legend, spectacular scenery and challenging outdoor activities to arts and crafts, playing golf or simply relaxing.
Within walking distance of Lilybank there are 3 local bars serving traditional home cooking (last orders at 8.30pm), and a restaurant. There is also a Tearoom at the pier which provides meals, snacks and high teas. In addition, Lamlash Golf Club serves food in its restaurant overlooking the course, non-golfers may be signed in by a member of staff.
