The Famous Bein Inn
"The Famous Bein Inn was originally built as a resting place for travelers on the traditional route north from Edinburgh to the Highlands."
It enjoys a peaceful, rural location in picturesque, wooded Glenfarg, just south of Perth, a few minutes off the M90 motorway and less than an hour's drive from the buzz and vitality of Edinburgh.
At the Bein Inn we are renowned for our friendly welcome and relaxed, informal atmosphere. Our warm, comfortable décor and blazing log fires are in keeping with our traditions and provide a welcome contrast to the cold, sterile character you will find in today's hotels and restaurants.
With two separate dining venues and ever changing menus at The Famous Bein Inn, it's your choice for a memorable occasion, and our restaurant uses the finest local produce to create imaginative menus that give a contemporary twist to favourite, traditional dishes.
The Famous Country Inn and Suites is ideally situated for exploring all parts of Scotland, from the history and heritage of Edinburgh, to the wild open spaces of the Highlands, and even to see where the Kings of Scotland were crowned. We offer great value short break packages, golf breaks, walking breaks and much more.
All our bright spacious bedrooms have modern facilities such as en-suite bathrooms, colour TV, direct dial telephone.
The four outside chalets at The Famous Bein Inn are available for hire on a self contained basis. The outside rooms are of a large size and all are equipped with LCD Plasma TV's, new carpets, bedding and honour bars, so you can enjoy your favorite tipple in private.
The rooms in house are a mixture of twins and doubles. Each have been fitted with new carpets and new bedding. The rooms have all been freshly decorated and have double glazing throughout. These rooms have anti-insect air vents and tea and coffee making facilities.
All tariffs include a Traditional Full Scottish Breakfast.
