| Set in a quiet residential street just a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre, the Cartwheel offers a warm welcome and a friendly relaxing atmosphere. Your hosts are Sharon and Dave and we pride ourselves in offering you hospitality aimed at fulfilling your individual needs whether as a walker, cyclist or dog owner.
Our six bedrooms are individually decorated to a high standard, including one bedroom with a four poster bed, and a range from en suite doubles to single standard rooms. We aim to please and are happy to provide additional extras for special occasions to make your visit more memorable. Just let us know prior to booking. Drying facilities are provided as well as a secure place to store your bicycles. Well trained dogs are welcome, provided you bring their baskets and we are very close to a large park that can be used by dog owners to exercise their dogs away from traffic. If you prefer some thing a little longer Latrigg and Walla Crag are both within easy walking distance. Our breakfast menu ranges from traditional home cooked breakfast, cooked using local produce such as Cumberland sausage, to set you up for a day out on the fells, or a lighter style breakfast catered to your taste. We also cater for vegetarians or other special dietary requirements and will provide packed lunches on request. We will fill your flask with tea or coffee free of charge, just drop it off at breakfast. |
