Avondale's location on the B6105 in Glossop offers you all the advantages of being close to local amenities, yet being on the edge of open countyside. The market town of Glossop is surrounded on three sides by the Peak District National Park and is easily reached by road and rail, combining the convenience of easy access from major towns and cities with all the attractions of the Peak District National Park. Local attractions include the medieval village of Old Glossop with its 12th Century Cross, the picturesque Longdendale Valley with its 5 reservoirs and the Longdendale Trail. Avondale is a stone house with many period features. It comprises internal double, twin and family rooms all with full en suite facilities. Torside Cottage is a large annexe room comprising double or small family accommodation with full en suite facilities. We normally allow pets to stay in the annexe with their owners at no extra charge Private off road parking is available.
