| Our superb bed and breakfast accommodation is equally popular with tourists and people visiting Ross on business. We think that this is owing to its location ( adjacent to the river/just a short 1 minute walk from the town centre) and to our tasteful decoration. We are confident that our careful attention to detail will make your stay a pleasure in our luxury B&B with Hotel Standards.
Between us we are able to speak a little German and French Location, Location, Location - the best in Ross-on-Wye. All rooms face on to the river, so there is no need to ask for a river view! Each of our 7 guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms/showers and we provide a host of thoughtful extras. Hearty breakfasts are served in the bright River View dining room. We are soon to have a Four Poster Bed for a romantic stay. We also offer Winter Breaks and discounts for longer stays - please contact us for more details. Ross-on-Wye is the Gateway to the Wye Valley. From Ross it is only a short distance to travel to Symonds Yat, Goodrich, Hereford, Gloucester, Malvern, Hay-on-Wye, Tewkesbury, Ledbury and the Forest of Dean. The Welsh border is only six miles away. If you have never visited Ross, then you don't know what you 're missing. For the tourist, then, there are loads of super places to explore. If you are more active, we can arrange fishing, canoeing, horse riding, golf, rambling etc. For birdwatchers, peregrine falcons can be seen at Symonds Yat and a multitude of rare species abound in the vicinity, including red kites at Brecon and buzzards at Peterstow. Slimbridge is not far away if you are a crow. Also, why not visit Ross for the Ross International Festival in August or stay during Cheltenham Gold Cup week? For the business traveller too, Ross has much to offer - the wide variety of restaurants (offering Hungarian, Chinese, Indian, Tibetan, Italian and Turkish cuisine) and seriously interesting pubs ensure that business visitors are spoilt for choice in the evening. You will be sure of a warm welcome wherever you go. All within easy walking distance. Be warned though - many visitors to Ross decide to move here having sampled the very easy going lifestyle. |
