| A very comfortable family run Restaurant with Rooms, dating from the 16th century it is two of the oldest houses in Harlech, close to the ancient castle. In the main building we have three twin/super king en-suite which offer the same high standard and facilities of our annex rooms. In the Llew Coch annex (a former coaching Inn in the C17) we have four luxury twin/super king en-suite bedrooms. Many of the original external features remain, but the interior has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. The original oak beams are exposed- as well as the new oak needed to repair the ravages of time! The walls follow the original contours and the oak window lintels are still on show. To counterbalance the character of the 400 year old building the furnishings and fittings are modern, sleek and contemporary - solid oak furniture, brushed chrome light fittings, remote colour TV's with text, video & DVD, CD clock radio/alarm, under floor heating in the bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. All rooms have single beds that can be linked to make a 'super king' sized bed. The colour scheme is clean and contemporary with a dash of colour in the bespoke curtains, headboards and cushions. Heating is controlled individually in each room. |
