The Eden Project - The Eighth Wonder of the World. The EDEN PROJECT is truly a natural theatre of plants; a global garden. The world's largest conservatories nestle in a giant, hidden crater, home to a universe of beautiful and important plant life. 'Travel the world' and discover how our lives are shaped by horticulture; how without vegetation we would not exist at all. The two huge biomes house a Rainforest and Oceanic Island climate zone; and a Mediterranean, South Africa and California zone. All around is our Temperate zone with a fantastic range of flora from the Himalayas to Chile; Australasia, the Atlantic rainforests and our own vast range of Cornish plants. This incredible and astonishing garden MUST be seen - it really is a life enhancing experience. We can supply Fast Track tickets to the Eden Project, which will save you queuing.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan - THE LOST GARDENS OF HELIGAN went to sleep and were gradually 'lost' after the First World War when more than half the garden staff perished in France, and the garden and its buildings became a unique time capsule. Now the 80 acres have been woken up and restored to their former glory. A magnificent plant collection can now be marvelled at thanks to the mild Cornish climate, and it proves to be a living example of Victorian ingenuity and vision.
Bodmin Moor - BODMIN MOOR is a sweeping expanse of granite tors, marshes, bogs, prehistoric and medieval remains with a history stretching back more than 4,000 years. Untouched by passing millennia the moor is one of the great unspoilt land masses in the south west. Walks of breathtaking beauty along ancient routes touch places of legend and folklore, with the added frisson of a possible encounter with the Beast!
