Here at Clifton Farm we provide excellent farmhouse bed and breakfast in the Farmhouse or self catering in our new, creatively transformed in 2005/06 from dereliction, wonderful holiday cottage, it is light, spacious, peaceful, inviting and warm. Come and stay on our friendly family run working farm and sample true Yorkshire Hospitality. On arrival enjoy homemade treats with a pot of tea/coffee.. or even a glass of wine!!

Clifton Farm is set in a beautiful peaceful part of Yorkshire with panoramic views over open countryside, we are well situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, yet still close to York.

I make all my own breads, jams, cakes, biscuits, scones and much more. All breakfasts are cooked to order using local or home produce. From the spacious dining room you can watch me cook your breakfast on the range in our big farmhouse kitchen.

Bedrooms in the house are ensuite or private bathroom and are very well equiped with TV's, cd/radio, radio alarm, toileteries, gowns, well stocked tea trays and much more, visitors own large lounge/dining room.

Cottage has two spacious, well equipped bedrooms, one with a four poster bed! Both bedrooms have colour TV's, radio alarms, hairdryers, tissues, toileteries and much more. There is a main bathroom, both bath and shower, and an extra toilet and wash basin, large open plan living area with gas powered log burner, digital TV, DVD, video, CD player.

Pub 10 min walk where excellent food is served.

An ideal location to stay for visiting York, the Coast, North Yorkshire Moors, Heartbeat country, Castle Howard, Flamingo Land and many many more places of interest.. there is so much to see and do. As a bonus we have some great restaurants/pubs/takeaways in the area, ask me for advice I have been to sample most of them!!
