The nearest attraction is our Cottage Garden, which has a wildlife pond and is well stocked with traditional plants and flowers. There are a number of quiet seating areas where you can relax. You are welcome to smoke here, but we have a no smoking policy within the house. The village of Weston Turville is situated in the foothills of the Chilterns and boasts three restaurants, all within ten minutes walk from us: There are many country walks, including the Ridgeway Path, Weston Turville Golf Club 18 hole course (½ mile), the old market town of Wendover (1½ miles) with an interesting variety of shops and restaurants, the county town of Aylesbury (3 miles), Halton Village (1 mile), Waddesdon Manor - National Trust (8 miles), Bicester Village shopping precinct (20 miles), Oxford (18 miles) and London (35 miles by road, 40 minutes by rail). Other attractions in the area are the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton, Wyevale Nurseries on the A413 on the outskirts of the village, the Chiltern Brewery, the Chiltern Hills and the home of motor racing the Siverstone circuit. |
