Built around 1680 as a town house for a local trademan, Linden House has served many purposes during it's existence including an Inn, Nursery and home to a number of 'spinsters of the Parish of Ross'. Changes made over the years have brought facilities up to date without changing the essential character of the house. Linden House is both smoke and pet free - guests are asked to be thoughtful of others and respect this one and only rule! All have TV and tea/coffee making facilities and most have period beds - although there is one room without to accommodate our loftier guests! Comfort, cleanliness and quality are priorities and all mattresses have firm bases. Decor is simple but stylish - strong colours, painted walls and stencils. En-suites have shower, toilet and wash basin, all scrupulously clean. All en-suites are on the first floor. We take pride in our professionalism, always cook traditional, vegetarian and continental breakfasts to order, serve 'real' tea and ground coffee, homemade bread and marmalade. Enjoy!
