| A 17th century beamed farmhouse in 4 acres of formal garden and grassland with a wealth of wildlife – ducks and moorhens on the moat, bats, owls and birdlife - in the heart of the Suffolk countryside stands ready to welcome you for a relaxed and quiet stay.
Located on the outskirts of a peaceful village just two miles north of the historic market towns of Stowmarket and Needham Market, Bays Farm also gives you quick and easy access to Bury St Edmunds,, Ipswich, Cambridge, Norwich, and Newmarket. Stanstead Airport is about 60 minutes away, and London under 2 hours by train from Stowmarket. Our central location within East Anglia is perfect for exploring.
Our intention is to provide a comfortable, relaxing environment. Enjoy your afternoon tea in the drawing room (available end 2004) and excellent breakfasts, where the emphasis is on fresh local and homemade produce, in the beamed dinning room. On warm days you might prefer to take your afternoon tea in the Rose or Japanese garden. In winter snuggle up to the open fire in the drawing room.
