| Briardene is a Victorian style Guest House built from local Lakeland stone and situated in beautiful Windermere. At Briardene, we offer a personal welcome and service. We have 3 luxury rooms available. The following 2 rooms are our new additions to Briardene. Our 4-poster room is our largest and furnished with reclaimed hand-carved pine furniture, a sitting area, 22" flat screen TV/DVD, fridge, iron & iron board and also all the normal extras together with a larger en-suite offering an enclosed jet-spray power/steam shower. Our other new room has a Victorian style brass king-size bed, sitting area with a 22" flat screen TV/DVD, fridge, iron & iron board and also all the normal extras together with a larger en-suite offering an enclosed jet-spray power/steam shower. our third room is our Deluxe Attic room with Victorian brass king-size bed, sitting area & en-suite bathroom and shower. This room also includes a 22" flat screen TV/DVD, fridge, iron & ironing board, bathrobes & bathsheets. All rooms have colour remote colour TV's, radio/alarm clocks, hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary hot chocolate, biscuits, mints and local bottled water. Also fresh towels, bathrobes and toiletries are provided too. Briardene is only a 10 minute walk from the Bus/Train station and only a 2 minute walk from Windermere town centre where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and public houses. Lake Windermere is only a 20 minute walk away where there are beautiful walks and outstanding views. For breakfast there is a wide choice available from our menu where we offer Continental, Vegetarian of Full English breakfasts.Exclusively for non-smokers. Sorry no children or pets. |
