| 76 rooms, 9 spacious suites, and indoor parking garage, bar lounge. Harald Schreiber, an artist, designer and architect, who has decorated already several ARCOTEL hotels with his extravagant and yet cozy design, is responsible for the entire decoration. He tries to create a symbiosis between state-of-the-art hi-tech and warm and soft materials and colours at the exact place, from where the first TV transmissions of the united Berlin went around the world. A glass facade allows from outside a good view of the hotel's interior on the one hand and opens the hotel a panoramic view of the world outside to the hotel guests on the other hand. The deeper you get inside the hotel, the more this transparency will be replaced by coziness. |
