The cottage is in a peaceful location with a large garden away from the road. It has the advantage of being only 5 minutes walk from Bishops Stortford town centre, shops and about 20 restaurants.

The accommodation consists of two comfortable rooms with a double bed with wash hand basins and an adjacent room with two full length bunk beds, sharing an adjoining bathroom for guests use only. An additional put-u-up bed can be provided in one of the double rooms. All rooms have television, tea & coffee making facilities, fans and hairdryers. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Guests are asked not to smoke in the house.

Full English or light breakfasts are include and are available between 7.30 and 9.00am. Vegeterians are carered for. All eggs are home produced free range.

The M11 and Stansted airport entrance are only about 2 miles away. The railway station is 10 to 15 minutes walk from the cottage, with regular fast trains to London and Cambridge.
