The Victorian Townhouse is situated in elegant Eglinton Crescent part of the historic West End of Edinburgh. The house is in walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, The Edinburgh International Conference Centre, theatres and art galleries, Murrayfield Stadium and Haymarket,Railway Station. The themed rooms, Caledonian, Colonial and Oriental rooms, are very spacious and decorated to a high standard. All the room are ensuite 2 are double and one twin bedded. The property was owned by David Alan Stevenson of the Lighthouse family and cousin of R.L.Stevenson. David's daughter was the authoress Dorothy E. Stevenson.
