The Orchard House In the heart of the most beautiful countryside you will find The Orchard House. An idyllic location in the picturesque village of Rothbury surrounded by the Cheviot Hills and on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. This Georgian Grade II Listed house has a unique charm with a warm and welcoming feel. The Drawing Room is and elegant room filled with antiques and fresh flowers retaining a timeless quality. A bar service is available and a log fire is lit in the winter months. Some of the bedrooms have been recently refurbished and those that have are simple yet elegant decorated in calm neutral tones with crisp Egyptian cotton linen. The shuttered windows of the front bedrooms overlook the village street whilst the rooms at the back of the house look out to the garden which is also available for guests to relax in. All rooms have TVs and some DVDs all offer complimentary bath robes and daily newspapers and toiletries by the White Company. Breakfast is a lavish affair with an emphasis on fresh local ingredients, organic and fair trade produce. All major credit cards are accepted.
