Veyatie is a modern bungalow situated at the end of Baddidarrach, overlooking Lochinver bay and Suilven.
Centrally located in the North West Highlands Geopark, we have unparalleled views across Lochinver bay to the mountains Quinag, Canisp and Suilven beyond.
Veyatie has 2 double rooms and 1 twin room.
One double and the twin room have en-suite shower bathrooms.
The other double room has a private bathroom immediately adjacent (exclusively for the use of the occupants of this room).
All our bedrooms tastefully decorated and are equipped with:
refreshment facilities featuring Highland Stoneware crockery, hair dryers, clock radios, fans and electric blankets.
All the bedrooms are centrally heated and are on one ground floor level. The beds are fitted with duvets (blankets are available if preferred).
There are also many little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The guests' lounge is spacious, very comfortable and is equipped with wide screen TV, VCR and music centre. Free wireless ADSL connection.
The conservatory offers unparalleled views across Lochinver Bay to spectacular mountains beyond. It is an ideal place to sit and relax after a hard day's motoring, walking or sightseeing.
Facilities for drying wet clothing and boots are available and we offer clothes washing facilities at nominal cost for long stay guests.
Due to the raised position of the house and sunken access to the lounge, Veyatie is not suitable for wheelchairs.
There is ample off-road parking for guests.
Complimentary afternoon refreshments are served in the conservatory from 4pm - 6.30pm.
Packed lunches can be provided.
Lochinver is a busy fishing village where you will see boats of many nationalities off loading their catch. The local restaurants feature freshly landed Lochinver fish on their menus.
The village has one of the best Visitor Centres in Scotland. Entry is free to the displays depicting the history of Lochinver and the unique geology of the area. A recent addition is a CCTV link to the nearby heronry in Culag woods. Live pictures are transmitted from a nest to monitors in the visitor centre. See herons live and close up.
There are restaurants to suit all pockets in Lochinver, as well as some excellent eating places in the surrounding area.
