| Woodville Farm is a family run arable & livestock farm set in the heart of the Dorset countryside. The village of Stour Row is 3 miles from the Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury and 6 miles from Gillingham, that has a good rail service to London. The accommodation offered is one double bedroom & one twin bedroom both with ensuite bathrooms, tea & coffee making facilities, colour television & hairdryer. There is also a comfortable lounge for guests and the attractive garden is available for quiet relaxation. The farm is ideally situated for exploring the many National Trust properties in the area and an hours drive will take you to the coastal towns of Bournemouth, Weymouth & Lyme Regis, the roman cith of Bath and the cathedral city of Salisbury. For those requiring a quiet break there are many walks in the area, including the Woodland Trusts "Duncliffe Wood" and horse riding & coarse fishing are available nearby. We also have a self catering 2 bedroomed bungalow near by. |
