Standing at the head of the medieval upper high street it combines a wealth of historic features with warm and comfortable modern living. The grade II listed property, saved from dereliction by a meticulous 2-year renovation using local trades and artisans, now offers spacious accomodation comprising 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 reception rooms. The 3 principle rooms, all in the oldest part of the house, date from around 1550 and provide a wealth of character with exposed oak beamed ceilings and original frame wall timbers. With accomodation for up to 10 guests and permutations of family, executive twin and single rooms, the property is quietly and conveniently situated immediately adjacent to a public car park providing ample free parking between 4pm and 9am. With prices starting form around £40 per room per night including full English breakfast, an enjoyable and comfortable stay is assured. Home cooked evening meals are also avaialble to advance order.
