| The Clevedon Hotel stands in its own secluded grounds just 200m from Meadfoot beach in the beautiful area of Meadfoot Bay, Torquay, Devon. Built around 1850, the Clevedon hotel was originally a gracious private villa and is now a popular family run hotel. Resident proprietors Rob and Alison ensure that you will always find a warm welcome, relaxing atmosphere and personal attention at all times. Ideally situated for the holidaymaker who wishes to forget the car, both the beach at Meadfoot and Torquay town centre are a short stroll away, as is the harbour side where those who wish to enjoy Torquay's nightlife will discover theatres, pubs, clubs and dancing to every type of music. Business people will find a comfortable environment to relax in after the toil of the day. Email, Internet and fax facilities are also available on request. All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. Each has en-suite toilet and shower or bath, colour television, clock radio, hair dryer and complimentary tea/coffee tray. Larger double and family rooms are also available as well as a ground floor room for those who have difficulty with stairs.
