Set on the edge of the ancient market town of Helston, Lyndale Cottage is only ten minutes walk from the town centre with its cobbled streets and alleys, is close to the coastal footpath and is just a fifteen minute drive to Lizard point, the most Southerly point in the UK. We are ideally situated for exploring West Cornwall's gardens, beaches, villages and coastline. It is only a twenty minute drive to Marazion, Penzance and Falmouth, forty minutes to St Ives, Lands End and the City of Truro. The Eden Project is an hours drive and well worth it. Helston is known as the Gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, one of the last remaining unspoilt areas of the region. Small fishing villages nestle into the rugged coastline and the high moorlands are home to rare birds and plants. The coves with their sandy beaches and rock pools are perfect for summer days and winter walks. As members of Southwest Tourism, the Cornwall Tourist Board and the Lizard Peninsula Tourism Association we are inspected every year to maintain our high standards of accommodation and service.
