We offer special mid week rates for individual and group bookings. Overlooking the historic market town of Stanhope, in what was once a vast hunting ground belonging to the Prince Bishops of Durham, the B&B accommodation is beautifully located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with panoramic views across Weardale. Away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, in B&B accommodation that is detached from the farmhouse, our quiet, private, quality accommodation provides the ideal base from which to explore Weardale, the Durham Dales, and the North East of England. For those who wish to enjoy the regions special places of interest without having to worry about driving, information on group trips is provided at our website at the "Group Adventures" link, including a pick up service for those traveling to us by public transport. A perfect place for walking and cycling holidays with beautiful walks and cycle routes that take you through the areas strong industrial heritage, which stems from mining lead and quarrying limestone. Two first floor double rooms, one with four poster bed. Two ground floor double rooms. One ground floor twin room. All rooms are en-suite, with TV, tea/coffee making facilities and sofa/chairs. Ground floor rooms are annexed to the breakfast room and connected externally by level footpaths. Private course fishing pond, private carpark, landscaped grounds and sitting area. Secure storage, workshop and spare parts for bicycles. Continental breakfast. Room Rates: Double/twin room £62-£67 per room per night. Double four poster room £67-£72 per room per night Special mid-week rates (Monday to Friday) - 5% to 10% discount.
