The accommodations secluded and elevated rural location is very beautiful and special, and with its carp fishing pond, beautiful walks and cycle routes is an ideal location for that tranquil, relaxing break.
Set in what was a deer park belonging to the Prince Bishops of Durham, the picturesque scenery and panoramic view over the dale gives rise to a natural serenity. It is a perfect place to observe the abundant wildlife and watch the sunrise, sunset, and as darkness draws in on a clear night an uninterrupted view of the stars. Indeed if heaven was on earth this would be a piece of it.
