The house has a secluded, south west garden, nestling into the valley and looks onto a conservation orchard and Coppet Hill beyond, which has many interesting pathways and is both a nature reserve and part of the Wye Valley Walk. Hay-on-Wye and Cardiff are less than an hour's drive away. Granton House has private parking and secure lockup for bikes and fishing tackle and facilities to dry clothes for walkers.
