It is situated l mile from the great historic cathedral of ELY' ll miles from Cambridge, and 8 miles from Newmarket and its racing attractions. "Springfields" was nominated one of the "top 20"in the country by the editors of the "WHICH?" Good Bed and Breakfast Guide, and has all the attributes one would expect to accompany this prestigious award. Set in 1 acre landscaped gardens and orchard surrounded by trees. the bedrooms all look into the rear gardens from where can be seen a great variety of birds feeding. e.g. robin, long tailed tit, blue tit, great tit, chaffinch, bullfinch, green and great spotted woodpecker, pheasant and many more. Also Peter rabbit and friends steal into the garden, with squirrel and sometimes muntjac deer. The bedrooms all have spotless, private/en suite facilities, lovingly appointed.
