| Muir of Ord Golf Course - Muir of Ord Golf Club was known originally as the Inverness Golf Club. The course was designed in part by James Braid, lying to the west of the old A9 road. The course has a length of 5557 yards, has 18 holes with a par of 68. This is a heathland course and has had 5 new holes added over recent years. Muir of Ord Golf Club is situated approx 15 miles from Inverness - 6 miles from Dingwall in the north of Scotland. We have a 10% discount if visitors book a round of golf through ourselves. |
| Strathpeffer Golf Club - Strathpeffer spa Golf Club was founded in 1888, one of the original course designers was "the grand old man of golf" Tom Morris of St Andrews, in more recent times Peter Allis has described the course as a jewel in the Highlands of Scotland. The drive on the first hole from tee to green features is the longest drop on any course in Scotland. The Spa village of Strathpeffer is situated 20 miles north of Inverness, via road A9 to Dingwall, the County Town of Ross-shire, and then road A834 to Strathpeffer. The golf course lies in Ulladale among the hills on land belonging to Cromartie Estate, five minutes walk uphill from the village square (signposted). | Fairways Leisure and Loch Ness Golf Course - Fairways is the Highlands premier golf, leisure and social location that caters for everyone in the family. It is the home of Loch Ness Golf Course, Fairways Driving Range and a host of associated facilities to keep you occupied every time you visit. Loch Ness Golf Course was opened in June of 1996 and has gained a reputation as an excellent test of golf for players of all abilities. In 1999 the new Inverness and District and Indoor Bowling Club built their new rink in the grounds of Fairways Leisure just next to Loch Ness Golf Course. There are 6 lanes and the club is open all year round. Fairways is situated on the South West edge of Inverness and is easily reached from all directions. From the north and south you leave the A9 at the Inshes/Culloden junction and follow Sir Walter Scott Drive until you can see the course on the left hand side. | Alness Golf Club - Alness Golf Club was established in 1904 and has seen many changes since that time. The most recent being the extension from a 9 to 18 hole course in 1997. This beautifully situated 18 hole golf course is probably one of the "Best Kept Secrets of the Highlands". The course offers a challenge to all types of golfers and has splendid views of the Cromarty Firth and the surrounding hillside. | Aviemore & Highlands Golf - Spey Valley Golf Course is now open and is one of Scotland’s newest championship golfing venues. This 18 hole layout measures a total of almost 7200 yards and features one of the longest par 5 holes in Scotland, which, from the back tees is full 641 yards in length. The new Aviemore Spey Valley golf course is situated close to the old Dalfaber golf course, Aviemore. With a spectacular backdrop of the Cairngorm Mountains, and the relaxing sound of the flowing River Spey, the Spey Valley Highland course is a sure winner. |

| Grantown on Spey Golf Club - Grantown is the capital of Strathspey and is a small town with a history of tourism. Visitors are always welcomed at the Club. Situated in the Cairngorms National Park, the course measures 5710 yards, with a par of 70 and Standard Scratch Score of 68. Though not long, it presents a fair challenge for every calibre of golfer. It is naturally split into three sections - Holes 1 to 6 are played over flat parkland, holes 7-12 are played through moderately hilly woodland, whilst holes 13 to 18 revert to undulating parkland. The 'signature' hole of the course is Murdie's View, the 275 yard 9th, a short downhill par 4 with the spectacular backdrop of pine trees and the Cromdale Hills. Elsewhere on the course, magnificent views of the Cairngorm range may be observed and wildlife abounds. |

| Bathroom 1 - This bathroom is for the private use of visitors using Bedroom 3, the twin bedroom. it has a large corner shower unit, bath, bidet, wash basin and toilet. There is a separate hand shower over the bath. Beautifully decorated in white/grey tiles on 3 walls and silver grey paint on 4th wall. A luxurious grey bathroom carpet enhances the room. There is a striplight with shaver socket above the round, swivel mirror, fresh towels and a courtesy basket. Bathroom 2 - This bathroom is for the private use of visitors using Bedroom 2, the double bedroom. It has a shower cubicle, bath with or without disable amenities, a wash basin and toilet. Tastefully decorated in cream with patterned tiles and linoleum flooring. There is a striplight with shaver socket above the mirror, fresh towels and a courtesy basket. Bedroom 2 - This is the Double bedroom decorated in apple white with matching accessories. It has a large built-in wardrobe with shelving, bedside cabinets with lamps & clock alarm, a full length self standing mirror, glass topped table with drawer and an easy chair. An electric kettle with top-up jug, tea, coffee,biscuits and occassional home baking are on offer. A full information pack on interesting places and local attractions is located in the drawer along with a set of playing cards, sewing aid and shoe cleaning facilities. It has a colour television with remote control and a small radio within the wardrobe. Bedroom 3 - This is a Twin room, decorated in subtle pink with matching accessories. It has a pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed side cabinet with lamp and radio/alarm clock, an easy chair and glass topped table with drawer. An electric kettle with top-up jug, tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets and occassional home baking are on offer. (For children, the tea and coffee facilities can be changed to soft drinks). A full information pack on interesting places and local attractions is located in the drawer along with a set of playing cards, sewing aid and shoe cleaning facilities. It has a wall mounted colour television with remote control. Breakfast Menu - Tick your preferences from the varied menu - a traditional Scottish breakfast, fish and fruit for the vegetarians, and cereals and juices for the kids. We have decaffinated coffee and tea and a variety of flavoured teas. A Continental breakfast can also be supplied. Choose your preferred time for breakfast. A good start to the day. Dining Room - The separate dining room is furnished in dark oak with complimenting light walls, carpet and curtains. There are self service fruit juices, cereals and coffee maker. It looks out to the rear of the house over fields and woodland and you can watch the many birds come down to feed at the bird table in the garden. It is a very relaxing start to your day. The Hallway - The long hallway leads to all bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a display cabinet with many leaflets showing places of interest and local attractions. Feel free to take as many as you wish and, hopefully, visit some of them while on your stay with us. View from Bedroom 2 - Surrounded by croft land, a beautiful view as you look out of your bedroom window. Why not take a stroll and see the kites and buzzards and many more wildlife on route. |
