| a) Welcome to No.9 - Step inside and make yourself at home, you will find a warm welcome and a very pleasant atmosphere. b) Our bedrooms. - We have a variety of attractive bedrooms at No.9: twin room, double rooms, family room and a very cute single en suite. c) More bedrooms to choose from. - All our bedrooms are en suite and offer all the comforts you would expect from a quality guest house: fluffy towels, comfy beds, central heating, complimentary beverages and toiletries, TV/DVD/CD player, radio alarm, hairdryer, iron etc. Each bedroom has tasteful furnishings and the homely aspects generally lacking in impersonal 'hotel rooms'. d) Breakfast at No.9 - We serve:Various teas with milk or lemon, delicious ground coffee. A variety of cereals with hot or cold milk. Chilled orange juice, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Brown and white toast - homemade bread a speciality. A cooked breakfast of free-range eggs, bacon, best butcher's sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, hashbrown and black pudding. We can also provide a continental breakfast, omelettes, kippers, bucks-fizz or just about anything for individual diets – you only have to ask! e) A little bit of history. - The house was originally built in 1865 and has been a retreat for seaside visitors ever since. We have tried to retain the house's Vitorian character and original features yet keep up-to-date with life's little comforts. The outside loo has gone together with shared bathrooms and modern visitors no longer need to warm their kettle on the bedroom fireplace. |
