Joy Raymond welcomes you to her beautifully appointed B&B set in a valley of woods in 3 acres of prize winning gardens and grounds. Just 2 miles from the sea side towns of Lyme Regis and three miles from Charmouth Hedgehog Corner is convenient for the World Heritage Jurrasic Coast and all the pretty little seaside towns on the Devon/Dorset border near by.
Joy has several rooms to choose from including a Romantic Retreat set at the edge of the garden, with its own garden area and picnic table. The Retreat is a B&B room with digital flat screen tv, woodburner and superb ensuite shower room but has the advantage of a small kitchenette for your convenience. There is a microwave, toaster, mini fridge (fresh milk provided daily) and all utensils and crockery which can be used for light bites and snacks in the evening or during the day. Breakfast is served at the main house at the time that you like. There is also a beautiful Kingsize bedroom with Victorian claw foot bath in the main house with digital flat screen TV and a double room with large TV with private bathroom with power shower or a twin room with digital flat screen TV which will accommodate the single traveller. Each room has a mini fridge and fresh milk, well stocked hospitality tray, tv, clock radio alarm, hairdryer and bathrobe. Joy serves breakfast at the time that You like, so you can have a welcome lie in if needed! Jumbo sausages are served at breakfast with home cured smoked bacon all sourced locally from the award winning butchers Complete Meats of Axminster. Farmer Ody supplies the free range eggs and Farmer Miller supplies the vine tomatoes from his superb and well stocked Farm Shop situated near by on the A35 at Kilmington(a good place to visit!). Returning visitors enjoy Joy's home made bread and marmalade and home prepared museli. Vegetarians are well catered for and local newspapers are available to browse at breakfast with a good supply of local attraction leaflets.
