| Spring and Summer is a traditional New England guest house located in the easternmost town in the USA. The Lubec area abounds in glorious nature, so outdoor activities- hiking, kayaking, painting, golfing, beach-combing, and watching birds, seals and whales are handy. Photographers love the beautiful light. Everyone marvels at the dramatic Bay of Fundy tides.
From Spring and Summer one can easily walk to the Lubec amenities - restaurants, food shopping, post office, library, and churches. The lighthouses at West Quoddy Head and on Campobello, the Canadian Island which features the Roosevelt summer home are less than 10 minutes by automobile.
Spring and Summer is furnished for comfort and relaxation. Accommodations for guests include three cozy bedrooms, one with two twin beds, the others each with a double bed. A kitchenette is well supplied with sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and dishes. It opens into a lounge with dvd/vcr and space for reading, playing chess, or setting up a puzzle. At the top of the front stairs is another sitting area for digging into a good book, writing letters, or making phone calls. There are two full shared baths.
