Hungercut Hall is a heavily beamed 16th century privately run hall/house which offers bedrooms with en-suite facilities, Freesat TV, free wireless internet access, plus the normal little quality extras you would expect from a 4 Star establishment. There is a wealth of antique furniture and paintings throughout the building.
Sitting Room.
There is a small sitting room available to guests to relax, chat or maybe play cards in, during the evening.
Breakfast.
Our Full English Breakfast - The sausages are produced in a nearby farm in the village, and the eggs come from our own free range hens. The bacon is best back, un-smoked and rind-less and is grilled. The black pudding is mildly spiced, British and is shallow fried, the mushrooms are fresh and are browned in butter, and the tomatoes are fresh and are shallow fried in olive oil with a pinch of ground nutmeg.
Food & Drink Limitations.
This is a small establishment where meals other than our full English breakfast are not available. We do not have a bar but The Highwayman pub/restaurant (which enjoys a high reputation for quality and value for money) is only a short drive away. The pretty village of Needham Market, which has many traditional pubs and restaurants, is also only a short drive..
Children and Dogs.
We are afraid we can only accept children over the age of 12. Dogs are welcome in selected rooms by prior arrangement, and they must be kept under close control and not left unattended.
Hungercut Hall has been rated as 4 Star Guest Accommodation by Visit Britain. Please visit our website for online booking, more information and special offers. |
