East Runton is a small and pretty Victorian seaside village still with its own shops and pubs. It has beautiful surrounding countryside for summer and winter walks plus a lovely beach – both just minutes away. Nearby Cromer has larger shops, a main line train station to Sheringham and Norwich, a pier with the famous end of pier theatre, fabulous chip shop, wet fish shop and restaurants etc. To the east is the smaller market town of Sheringham with its Little Theatre and Poppy Line Railway. Both Cromer and Sheringham have award-winning beaches. A little further to the east and slightly inland is the historic Georgian market town of Holt with its superb shops, antique galleries, cafes and bistros. Norwich is just 20 miles away, with its popular airport (Exeter 1 hour 10 mins) and rail links to the Midlands (2 hours 30 mins) and London (1 hour 40 mins). The sumptuous luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in the house comprises 4 sumptuous ensuite bedrooms plus a ellegant drawing room for the exclusive use of our guests at all times and a large breakfast conservatory. The drawing room has a traditional 'real' fire with no television, just right for relaxing with a home made cream tea. Each of the bedrooms has its own luxury ensuite, LCD screen television with Sky, a stereo system with DVD player, internet access and, of course, tea and coffee making facilities. All the rooms on the first floor (not Orchid)have remote controlled 'real flame' gas fires and one of them has a remote controlled LCD television at the end of the bath! Our ground floor bedroom and ensuite is fully accessible for disabled guests We are open for 52 weeks per year, and our prices start at £165 per room per night, (based on 2 persons sharing) which includes complimentary afternoon tea on your arrival, red and white wine, chocolates, fresh flowers, fruit and soft drinks are also provided in your room and a full English breakfast of your choice.
