| Explore Tasmania's spectacular East Coast from this idyllic base in our stuccoed Victorian Georgian heritage home set on 9 acres in the historic coastal township of Swansea.
Relax in a peaceful and private setting comfortably furnished throughout with antiques. Enjoy a hearty breakfast in our cosy howff as you plan your daily activities exploring this special part of the coast.
The accommodation, with your own private entry, is ideally suited for two couples or four adults travelling together but only one booking is taken per night. Therefore, if you book as a single, a double or two doubles, you will have exclusive use of the cottage.
Attractions and activities vary from Freycinet National Park, Wineglass Bay and the Hazards at Coles Bay, the berry farm, bark mill and vineyards to secluded beaches, golf, tennis, fishing, cruises, kayaking, scenic flights and unforgettable walks through national parks. Restaurants, coffee and craft shops are nearby together with other amenities.
All rooms in our 1880s random bluestone cottage have panoramic views (over extensive gardens surrounded by dry stone walls featuring a Celtic rose bed) to Great Oyster Bay and the dramatic Hazards at Freycinet.
Step back in time at Abbotsford and enjoy some old fashioned hospitality - with a touch of Celtic spirit ! |
