| Built in early 1900 from locally quarried Lakeland stone Ellerbrook House is a large victorian family home which retains a lot of its origional features, the accommodation comprises of 2 double ensuite rooms 1 small family ensuite room which sleeps 3 people and a large family room which sleeps 4 people and has a private shower/toilet just outside the room. all rooms have washbasins fitted.
All our rooms are tastefully decorated and have complimentary tea/coffee facilities. Each room also has colour television.The large family room has a TV-video (a selection of childrens video's are avalable on request), and a cot and high chair are also available. Packed lunches are available daily on request. Ellerbrook House is located just 5 mins walk from Windermere town centre and just 10 mins from the train station, so is ideally situated for all the shops and restaurants,and there is a local public house located just 2 mins from the front door. Bowness and the lake are 1 mile away and can be walked in around 15 mins. There is ample free, on street parking available, with a regular bus service passing the door every 20 mins. A full English breakfast is served in the dining room between 8.30 - 9 am. We also cater for vegetarian diets on request. A warm welcome from your hosts Richard and Nicola await you! |
