HERON'S BROOK is situated at the bottom of the Ogmore Valley close to Junction 36 on the M4. We are able to share with you the most fantastic views across the mountains, woodlands and rolling green hills with beautiful sunsets. On our doorstep in Blackmill village there are two pubs serving excellent food , a corner shop with post office and a petrol station. With easy access to a corridor of cycle paths leading up the valley and down to the coast, rambling, or even paragliding from the Bwlch.

    Breakfast room Our Breakfast room is situated on ground floor level with breath taking views looking over Blackmill village and mountains. With our tasty breakfast menu to choose from, welsh Jam and local free range eggs (where possible) for your cooked breakfasts. This spacious room has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your breakfast before setting out for the day. This is also a reading room where you can relax and read all about the local attractions and contemplate where to have your evening meal. Deciding if it will be our friendly local pub the Fox & Hounds where you will receive a warm welcome from Debbie & John and what could be better its only about a three minute walk from our B & B. Or a short drive to our local town to choose from a number of restaurants.
