Double room - A large, warm and comfortable bedroom: electric blanket, a refreshment tray with cookies, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and herbal teas, Free View TV, Wi-Fi, a selection of books and a big African Rug on the wall.
June flowers! - Relax in our one acre landscaped garden. We have a sunny terrace overlooking the whole garden where you can sit beside our wall fountain, or there's a covered arbour beside the formal pool with its water lilies and fish, and at the end of the garden you can tuck yourself away on a huge Victorian bench surrounded by Sue's developing wild flower meadow. On a summer's day or a warm evening this is truly a glimpse of heaven.
Our arbour and lily pond. - You are welcome to wander in the garden, sit and work or find one of the seats to just sit!
Our dining room - Breakfast is served from 7.00 -9.00 am. There is always fresh fruit, fruit juice, a large selection of cereals and traditional cooked English breakfast. We source our bacon, sausages and eggs from local farms and grill rather than fry our breakfasts as a healthy option. The dining room is in the oldest part of the house (about 1820) and is furnished with old farm house spindle back chairs, a huge pine table, brass lamps and a restored antique fireplace. Through the window you can watch our wild birds on the feeders, or watch the seasonal changes in the garden.
Our single room - Situated on the ground floor, overlooking a steep garden area which is a tapestry of colour nearly all year round, this room is spacious and warm. It has an ensuite bathroom and pleasant working space for our business and professional guests, together with Wi-Fi and plenty of room for storing clothes, files and books. Many of our long-term guests make this their home-from-home base.
Twin room - Bright, contemporary furnishings based on a David Hockney poster and a lovely view of our flowery bank make this a good room for either single occupation or for friends or family sharing. A bathroom for private use is available just outside the room, also desk and Wi-Fi for business guests.
