"RESTFUL ROOMS, RELAXING VIEWS, GREAT BREAKFASTS!"
* Tucked away in a valley just on the edge of Bodmin Moor. 5 mins from Liskeard and Dobwalls on the A38, 15 mins from the A30.
* Just 5 minutes walk to water sports and fishing at Siblyback Lake. And just a couple of miles from Golitha Falls.
* Inside the Bodmin Moor Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with direct walking access to the moors. And within the newly designated Cornish Mining World Heritage Site.
* Convenient for exploring the best of Cornwall's fabulous beaches, secluded coves and cosy fishing villages.
*Close to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
* Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms with private bathrooms.
* Great breakfasts with eggs laid by our very own free range hens.
* Gimble Mill is a former water powered stamping mill dating from at least the 1600’s when records show there were two water mills on the site leased by two tin miners, Esikiel John and Emanuel Budge. Both ‘stamps’ serviced a tin mine situated just behind the property that has been disused for over a century but can still be made out even now.
* Today Gimble Mill is run as an organic smallholding with a focus on sustainability. Being members of the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project we always seek to minimise the impact of our B&B and tourism on the environment. Eventually we hope to be self sufficient...ish!
* We are also a horse friendly B&B and can provide stabling and grass/hay for your horse. Bodmin Moor is terrific for riding with over 100 square km's of open countryside to explore.
