| North Tyne View is a barn conversion completed in 2006. Situated alongside Hadrian’s Wall Footpath at the crossroads of the A6079 and the B6318 (map reference NY922702), it offers luxury en-suite accommodation. Each room has been furnished to a very high standard with double bed, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite shower room and WC. In addition to breakfasts we can provide packed lunches and evening meals. We are within walking distance of the George Hotel at Chollerford, the Crown Inn in Humshaugh and the Hadrian in Wall. A short drive away in Barrasford is the highly acclaimed gastro pub, the Barrasford Arms. North Tyne View is ideally situated for walking Hadrian’s Wall as the footpath crosses our front door. The Hadrian’s Wall bus (AD122) stops outside so you can stay with us and walk the whole length of the footpath using this bus service. Alternatively we can arrange baggage transfer to your next destination as well as providing long term parking for the duration of your stay. There are many other attractions within easy travelling distance including Hexham “England’s favourite market town” which is only five miles away, Wallington Hall and Thomas Bewick’s house at Cherryburn. |
