A friendly welcome awaits you when you arrive at our house, which is on the outer edge of Luton, close to the countryside and the Chiltern hills We have one light airy room with two single beds,Double glazing and central heating,there is seating, colour T.V. Hairdryer bottled water,hand and bath towel.In January 2011 we completely refurbished the shower room, as well as installing WiFi for all those users of Laptops. The price includes a full English breakfast, or breakfast of your choice, (we are quite flexible).Let us know at time of booking if you have any dietary requests.We ask that our guests do not smoke in the house, but during the summer months guests can use the patio area in the garden to sit outside if they wish. We are approximately Fifteen minutes from the M.1.junction 10. and about ten minutes by taxi cab from London Luton Airport . Ten minutes to the town centre by bus or car, where there is a covered shopping mall, a railway station with trains straight into St Pancras for travel into London (handy for 2012 Olympics) and on the Eurostar for travel to the continent. We also have two golf courses nearby. we are about 18 miles from the town of Bedford which has a riverside walk and many shops, also they have The John Bunyan museum. The historic Market town of Hitchin is approx. 10 miles away with individual shops and cafes. Whipsnade Zoo is a car ride away close to Dunstable.Also the city of St Albans with its' Roman ruins and cathedral is to the south of us, about 20 minutes car ride away. For those who want to 'shop til they drop' we are 20 miles from Milton Keynes, where there is a large shopping mall with all the well known shops including John Lewis and some designer shops also the Xcape centre with its snow boarding and restaurants. Restaurants are nearby and take away establishments and a bank with an ATM machine are within easy walking distance. N.B.Payment is in cash not cheque. We will accept Euros as well as GB pounds. Sorry but we do not have facilities to take credit card payment
