| At Marsco Bed and Breakfast on the Isle of Skye, you will find the perfect opportunity to escape from the hectic pace of modern life. Marsco B&B is surrounded by some of the Isle of Skye's most magnificent scenery - the towering peaks of the magnificent Cuillin Mountains are clearly visible, and there are views over the loch towards the McLeod's Tables in the north west. Our home is located just above the shores of the beautiful Loch Harport and just over 1 mile from the world famous Talisker Distillery, in the small village of Carbost. The Double rooms have wonderful loch views, and the Twin room has views to the peaks of the Black Cuillin. Whether you are walking, climbing, cycling or just touring, Marsco Bed and Breakfast is the ideal base from which to venture out to discover the wonders of Skye. Marsco is open all year. | Dining Room at Marsco - Meals are shared in the dining room, as part of the fun of bed and breakfasting is the opportunity to meet a variety of people from around the world and to share your experiences with the other guests.
Our Breakfast Menu is wide and varied to give you the chance to decide on your own breakfast. There is always a range of fresh fruit, fruit juices and cereals available, and you can follow this with either, a full traditional cooked or continental breakfast or select from our local Carbost free range egg menu.
Fresh Local Produce
All of our food is locally sourced wherever possible and cooked to order. All ingredients are freshly prepared and are grilled, steamed or boiled - we do not serve fried food, fast or otherwise!
Whilst enjoying the view of the garden from the dining room or sitting room, you can also enjoy an afternoon tea or evening meal at Marsco.
We will be pleased to prepare a packed lunch to take with you whilst exploring Skye.
Otter Lodge Log Cabin Self Catering now available - Located in the grounds of Marsco Bed and Breakfast, Otter Lodge, named after the otters seen in the Loch below the Lodge has wonderful views and is superbly presented and ideal for that special holiday on the Isle of Skye The Cuillins Room at Marsco - The Cuillins room, as the name suggests has views to the Black Cuillins. It is a twin bedded room, with Satelite TV/DVD/Radio, tea and coffee making facilities The Harport Room at Marsco - This is a very large room with wonderful views directly over Loch Harport towards the Mcleods Tables. A fully equiped room with Satelite TV/DVD/Radio, tea and coffee making facilities. An additional guest bed can be added to sleep three or to convert to a twin room. The Struan Room at Marsco - A large double bedded room, with superb loch views to the hills and towards the Mcleods tables. Fully equipped with Satelite TV/DVD/Radio, Tea and Coffee making facilites. An additional guest bed can be added to sleep three or to convert to a twin room. View from Marsco Bed and Breakfast - This is the view from the garden and lounge at Marsco bed and breakfast. Just 200m from the loch shore, you walk across the croft to fish, swim, land and launch your kayak, or just sit and watch the otters, seals and birds. |
