| Built in 1652, this inn was originally leased to the Beaufort family for 6p per annum for 1000 years. It has since been lovingly restored and is currently the holder of a number of awards, including the Good Pub Guide 2005 Gloucestershire County Dining Pub of the Year. The restaurant serves a variety of traditional English meals, including fresh game specialities. A varying selection of specials is available each day. The bar serves both wine and an excellent selection of regularly rotated real ales. The drawing room is available for functions, and can hold up to 28 guests. A personalised menu is possible. |
