| The Marlborough House Hotel was built in 1990 and extended in 1997 to offer 17 en-suite bedrooms, each comfortably furnished to the highest standards. Each room has a kitchenette, with a refrigerator, microwave, mini-bar, kettle and crockery. This is ideal for guest staying for two or more nights or who would rather pick up a take away for the night and stay in and work or relax. With direct dial telephones and a desk for working the rooms are well equipped for our business clients. Each room is also equipped with a colour TV with access to Sky Movies, Sky News, Sky Sports and UK Gold. Smoking is strongly discouraged in all guest bedrooms. However, guests may smoke in the ground floor coffee lounge. The Marlborough House Hotel is located 1.3 miles north of Oxford City centre in leafy North Oxford and a short walking distance from Summertown shopping centre. Situated half a mile south of the Pear-tree roundabout, the Hotel is easily accessible from the M40 (Junctions 8 and 9) and A34. Also by bus and train. Our aim is to provide high quality accommodation, suitable for caring guests, who prefer to be independent of meal times, but who seek limited self-catering facilities. We particularly cater for those who come to Oxford to study, visit or on business. |
