| The Royal is a majestic, beautiful hotel dating back to 1837. A very friendly and warm welcome awaits you. Refurbishment work completed in December 2006 has given the building a new lease of life. The hotel is now access-friendly into the restaurant and bar. Being a grade ll listed building has created a few problems extending this to the bedrooms, but the hotel is working on it. The changes are fantastic, though in character. Come and enjoy the new ‘Riverview Bar’, and, as the name suggests, you can enjoy the magnificent views across the Wye Valley and river below. |
