| Cormiston Farm is a family run bed and breakfast surrounded by the rolling hills of the Clyde Valley. It lies within 2 acres of mature garden and woodland, some 2 miles from the town of Biggar and is listed by Historic Scotland.
Rated 4 Star by Visit Scotland, there are two large double bedrooms, overlooking the hills to the south. The largest bedroom has a super king size four-poster; both have private bathrooms. A sitting room is available where you can relax in front of a log fire on chilly days. Dinner, if required, is usually at 8pm, and is a seasonal four-course set meal. Much of the produce is from the walled kitchen garden or from local markets. The emphasis is on local ingredients cooked in a simple way. Dinner is £25 per person. We have a small, but select, wine list. Children of all ages are always welcome, and stay free if under 16. All major credit and debit Cards accepted. |

| Culter Fell Bedroom - Culter Fell has a king-size bed, and a window seat overlooking the hills to the south-west. A private bathroom, with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin is just down the hall. Tinto Bedroom - Tinto is the largest bedroom with a super-king-size four poster bed (6ft wide). The bay window looks out over the hills to the south-west. A private art-deco listed bathroom is nearby, with toilet, washbasin and the original Victorian bath. The Georgian Farmhouse - Built in the 1790's, with additions in 1900, it retains many of the original Georgian and Victorian features. The farmhouse and large Georgian Steading to the rear are B Listed (Grade II) by Historic Scotland. The Kitchen Garden - We source produce locally, if we can't pick it from our own garden. The emphasis is on local ingredients cooked in a simple way. The Sitting Room - Afternoon Tea is served between 4pm and 6pm in the sitting room, or in the garden on warm, sunny days. A selection of teas, homemade cakes and scones will help to revive you after your journey. The Woodland Garden - Cormiston Farm is surrounded by about 2 acres of grounds, consisting of lawns, flower-beds, orchard, farm-yards, outbuildings, a walled garden and wooded areas. The grounds are bordered by open fields, grazed by sheep, and the occasional horse. |
