Velog is a large Victorian Town house, situated in a quiet residential road, just off of the harbour front. It sits in the sleepy hamlet of Borth-y-Gest, nestling on the shores of the Glaslyn Estuary. From the house it is just a couple of minutes walk to the cliff paths with lead to secluded sandy coves, ideal for sun-bathing and swimming, all to a back drop of majestic mountains ranges of the Rhinogs and the Moewlyns. Velog has been sympathetically maintained to a high standard and offers our guests both space and warmth throughout. Rooms are all double bedded double rooms with own en-suite facilities. They have hospitallity trays, and colour tv's. The house is centrally heated throughout. We do good home cooking, and as long as we know when booking is made can cater for all dietry needs of our guests. We are centrally based for all activities and attractions of the Snowdonia Natial Park. Porthmadog and the Ffestinog and WelshHighland railways are 3/4 mile away. 1.1/2 miles to Portmerion the famous Italianaite village. Mount Snowdon is only half hour drive from Velog.
