Bed and Breakfast situated a quarter of a mile on the outskirts of Maidens overlooking the Isle of Arran in the South West coast of scotland there is a variety of things to see and do in the area, for golf lovers there is the open championship courses of Turnberry only half a mile away, and Troon only a twenty minute drive away and there are several other good golf courses all within a short driving distance, right beside us there is shanter riding centre riding centre which offers lessons for beginners to advanced, also you can go for hacks along the beach for one hour or a two hour hack takes you into culzean again these are suitable for riders of all abilities,over the hill approx 1 mile there is souter johnnie's cottage in kirkoswald and fifteen miles further on is the cottage of robert burn's at alloway, there is regular sailings to Ireland from either Troon or Stranraer both less than an hour's drive away.
