Cherry Bank is a family-run guest house situated in beautiful, peaceful surroundings below the Skiddaw range, just before the Dodd Wood area, about two miles from Keswick town centre.
The house stands in its own grounds and has magnificent views towards the Grizedale and Causey Pike ranges, Newlands valley, Borrowdale, Cat Bells, Walla Crag and the Helvellyn range. There is ample private car parking for guests adjacent to the house. Cherry Bank is a totally non-smoking establishment. We have an en-suite double room and two rooms that share a bathroom, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, these being ideal for a family or group travelling together. We also take singles at a small supplement. A varied menu is available for breakfast, including Full English with locally produced Cumberland sausage, all cooked freshly to order.
We are dog friendly and there are several pleasant walks nearby. We are ideally situated for those who wish to walk the beautiful Lakeland Fells. This is an ideal location from which to explore the northern areas of the Lake District National Park by car or bicycle (secure storage available), or you can travel just a little further and visit places such as Carlisle and its historic castle, Hadrian's Wall, the Solway Coast or the Lake District peninsulas. |
