For the Suite, Single £40- £50, Double £60- £70
The accommodation of this delightfully picturesque cottage (a former cottage of the coachman to the adjacent Mergate Hall) consists of a private suite accessed by a private staircase. The suite has a designer double bedroom, a cosy sitting room with TV, books,games and a luxury bathroom/shower. A second large double bedroom is available to members of the same party. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and both have radio alarms, hairdriers, robes and luxury toiletries. Breakfast of juices, coffee, croissants, muffins, toast, homemade preserves, fruit, cereal and a Full English is served in the dining room or the conservatory (your choice) and in the summer months can also be enjoyed in the quiet and secluded garden, probably with a visit from the Mergate Hall peacocks! Numerous footpaths and walks are on the doorstep (maps are provided). Secure storage is available for bikes. This area is a haven for birdwatchers and there are excellent pubs and restaurants close by.
