| Lickbarrow Lodge, an award-winning Arts and Crafts house, is neither a guest-house nor an hotel - it is our private home in which we welcome guests to either the unique Studio apartment, which is normally let on a self-catering basis and can accommodate a third person or, for Bed and Breakfast, the charming Guest Room.
Both rooms reflect the Arts and Crafts ethos - simple design, beautiful materials and fine craftsmanship. Set high above Windermere and Bowness villages, yet within easy walking distace of each, the house nestles at the edge of our private 5-acre woodland.
