| West Barns Bed & Breakfast offers large rooms set in a large Georgian House within mature tranquil gardens.
The breakfast menu consists of a choice of cereals aswell as a full cooked breakfast served with tea, coffee or fresh fruit juice.
Although the house and gardens offer a tranquil atmosphere local amenities are within walking distance offering some spectacular scenery such as Bass Rock which can be viewed by taking a short walk along part of the famous John Muir Walkway on the edge of The John Muir Country Park to the beautiful Belhaven Bay and Beach.

Belhaven Beach is popular for surfing, windsurfing, horseriding, walking, traction kiting, kite surfing, sunbathing (weather permitting), bird watching and with childrens entertainment on offer at the East Links Country Park with it's own miniature locamotive and wide selection of animals the whole family is catered for.
Despite being a small town, there is nothing sleepy about Dunbar; as well as restaurants, bars and cafes aplenty, we have the John Muir Birthplace Museum, the town museum plus an excellent Leisure Pool, complete with wave machine
The Lammermuir Hills are popular with walkers and mountain and road bikers alike.
There are numerous Golf Courses to choose from, Winterfield Golf Course is within walking distance with views that overlook Belhaven Bay and Bass Rock.
There is a wonderful selection of local dining to suit all tastes caterig for all tastes and requirements.
Other local attractions include the magnificent Tantallon Castle, Glenkinchie Whisky Distillery & North Berwick Scottish Seabird Centre with boat trips around the Bass Rock or why not visit the new Concorde experience at the Scottish Museum of Flight .
In August we are in easy reach for the world famous Edinburgh Festival and Military Tattoo.
If you are looking for a bit more excitement or run out of things to do in East Lothian (unlikely!!), then Edinburgh is less than 30 minutes drive away or 20 minutes by train.
