| Jolly Farmers is a substantial oak timbered former Farmhouse and Inn. Built in 1590 and Grade 2 listed, we are situated amongst landscaped gardens 2 miles in between the villages of Fressingfield and Cratfield within a nature conservation area. We're also close to the renowned Suffolk Heritage Coast and many other places of interest. |

| Adjoining Room - This room accommodates a 4ft bed so would sleep 1 or 2 people, or children. is only accessible via the main suite, (no separate bathroom)and the use of facilities is from the main suite. There is also a shower room downstairs. This cosy room is particularly suitable for parties of people who know each other or families. Beer Garden - Some of the old car park has been reclaimed and the whole area re-landscaped keeping as many old trees as possible. These include a Norfolk Bramley,cooking pear, plum and green gage. To the left overlooks the pond, originally dug to provide building material. The pond is securely fenced for the benefit of little ones. Location - This is the view along Cratfield Road, just outside Jolly farmers - acres and acres of unspoilt countryside. You can often see Hares and Pheasants in the fields opposite. Main Mullion Suite - Main double suite, own separate full-size bathroom, TV, shaver point, hairdryer, door off to adjoining room. Parking at Jolly Farmers - As Jolly Farmers was a pub, there is ample parking on site for up to 4 guest's vehicles. Classic cars may even get special treatment! The Herb Garden courtyard - A lovely secluded sun-trap at the rear of Jolly Farmers. Guests are welcome to sit out here in the summer either to have breakfast or to enjoy a drink before they go out in the evening. BBQs can be arranged here upon request. The Old Keg Room - have your breakfast in the old Keg Room, with views of the garden. this room also known as the tap or cellar room used to be used to store the beer kegs when Jolly Farmers was run as a beer house and pub from c1830-1968. |
