| A traditional Lakeland family home in the Lake District National Park offering high quality non-smoking en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in a rural location just off the A590 at Witherslack. Just 8 minutes from the M6 J36 we are easy to find and it's an ideal location for touring the English Lake District and South Lakes Furness Peninsulas as well as for stop-overs to and from Scotland. The individually decorated and tastefully furnished rooms are designed with your comfort in mind and have views overlooking the gardens and the surrounding countryside. Our spacious superior room has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower mixer and its own private balcony containing a table and chairs to relax and watch the world go by. Our spacious versatile room can be used as a double, twin or family room and has a double and single bed along with an en suite shower room. A folding guest bed is also available for a child of between 5 and 14 years of age. Each bedroom has a flat screen colour TV, CD/DVD with CD/DVD library, Wi-Fi, room safe, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Individual service and a warm and friendly welcome is guaranteed so start the day with our Lakeland breakfast before visiting the beautiful English Lake District and Furness Peninsular attractions, countryside, towns and local villages. Our Lakeland breakfast menu is served in the conservatory. Cosy guest sitting room. Open all year (except Christmas). Parking available. Sorry but we don't have facilities for children under 5 years of age. Dogs welcome and we provide a dog bed, water bowl and chew to make him/her feel more at home. A warm, friendly welcome and individual service is guaranteed, plenty of walks nearby and some direct from the door, a pub serving good food is just a 2 minutes walk along the road along with many other restaurants and pubs in the area just a short drive away. Normally Stuart charges £50.00 an hour including vat but our guests can have their portrait session for £40.00. Stuart's professional family portraits are to love and cherish in a style that suits you. Choose from casual, traditional or contemporary styles to create that perfect picture. All you need to do is tell us what you want then sit back, relax and make sure you're smiling! From the photo session prints and stretched canvases of a variety of sizes are available. |
